Focus sur le groupe The Action + Mod Jazz selection + Charlie the mod ...
Trop souvent dans l'ombre des groupes estampillés "100 %" MOD " (Small Faces, The Kinks ...), il était déjà temps pour In MODS We Trust de rendre à THE ACTION la place qu'il mérite au top des groupes incontournables du mouvement.
Emmenés par les frères KING (Reg à la voix et Alan à la guitare), adulés par Phil Collins et Paul Weller, cette émission est l'occasion de découvrir le groupe depuis leurs débuts aux côtés de Sandra Barry ( sous le nom de The Boys) jusqu'à l'apogée de leur fulgurante carrière avec des hits cultes comme "Shadows & Reflections" ou encore "Hey Sah Na Ley" .
Actu oblige, l'émission s'ouvre avec l'hymne Lennonien "Imagine" et se referme avec l'excellent "Profit in Peace" d'Ocean Colour Scene pour un hommage aux victimes de l'attentat à Charlie Hebdo !!
